Riverbend Middle Bay Light Tee

First constructed in 1885 Middle Bay Lighthouse, is an active hexagonal-shaped cottage style screw-pile lighthouse. The structure is located offshore from Mobile and Baldwin County, in the center of Mobile Bay.  This iconic lighthouse is one of only 2 built in this style and has withstood many, many hurricanes because of its unique design, sturdy craftsmanship and the pilings being screwed into the muddy bottom of Mobile Bay.
